About Us

Meet the team

Twenty20 Entertainment began in 2017 when founding partners Josh Barnett and Brian Reeder realized that the bar for dependable wireless video monitoring solutions on set was very low. Too often, they would hear Directors or Producers on set calling for a monitor to be fixed, asking how to operate it, or simply giving up and announcing: “I’m flying blind here, people!”, so Josh and Brian endeavored to raise that bar.

After experimenting with some of the more mainstream wireless video solutions on the market, they agreed that those systems were either overly complicated or inconsistent, and turned their attention to a local video engineer who had spent the past couple of decades refining the perfect solution. A handheld, switchable system that is both reliable and easy to use.

Since their first rental, the feedback on these video systems has been overwhelmingly positive, show after show. In cities around the globe, both the creative and technical minds on set have come to rely on the quality, ease, and convenience of these systems.

In 2020, Twenty20 Entertainment brought in a third partner, Matthew “Hax” Hackbarth to spearhead the development of its live-streaming capabilities. His elegant creations have taken the on-set Control Room on-line to be viewed by any member of the production from anywhere they may need to be.

As our catalog of products and services expands and grows with the ever-evolving landscape in the film and television production industry, we stay grounded by our guiding principle:

“Gear should be reliable and easy to use.”

We at Twenty20 Entertainment look forward to helping you bring your vision to life.
